Sandra Fluke headed for defeat in CA State Senate race

Sandra Fluke, the liberal activist who made headlines in February 2012, is headed for defeat in her campaign to become a member of the California State Legislature.

In early returns, Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board Member Ben Allen led Fluke by a nearly 2-1 margin in the 26th State Senate race. Results are according to the California Secretary of State’s office at 8:32 p.m.
